This painting is a view of the Cosmic Universe within us. Like the Universe whose origins are not certain, similarly in the space of my inner silence, slowly the “Inner Universe” revealed that I am part of the Universe and the Universe is part of me.
Some stories leave an everlasting impression on one’s life and soul – here’s the story that jolted me and planted seeds of the beautiful connection between our inner and outer Universe. These seeds now sprouted in my painting.
“One day the enchanted and playful “Indian God” Krishna was eating clay. His mother saw him eating something and asked Krishna to open his mouth. When Krishna slowly opened his mouth, she saw the entire Universe – millions of stars and galaxies sprinkled all over the infinite skies.”
This painting is a view of the Internal Universe within us. Like the Universe whose origins are not certain (what existed before the Big Bang.), similarly in the space of my inner silence, slowly the germination of Krishna’s story started to express the “Inner Universe” on the outer canvas.
